Legybles is an educational writing curriculum that includes a series of workbooks. It begins with sticker books, ‘Tracing for Focus’ and ‘Tracing for Form’, that are fun for you and your child to kick off pre-writing with tracing. As your child progresses through the workbooks, emphasis will change to learning letters through copying, ‘Copying for Accuracy’. Once they are skilled at how to make letters, the workbooks shift to writing fluidly…fast and neat; ‘Writing for Fluidity’. After that, composition is where it’s at; composing sentences and then paragraphs in ‘Writing for Content’. The Legybles will lead your child through their writing years keeping them motivated throughout the journey by having fun through pretend play.
